Obituary:  Susan Dale Guyton was the youngest child of Dale S. Guyton and Marion Walker Guyton.  She lived her entire life in Wilsonville, Oregon.  She was pre-deceased by her parents and her step mother, Dorothy Smith Guyton.
She attended West Linn High School and graduated in 1968 from Lewis & Clark College.  She completed one year of graduate studies in zoology at the University of Montana in Missoula and in 1981 earned her MBA from the University of Portland.
Sue worked for a number of years at Tektronix in Beaverton, Oregon in integrated circuit development and from there she went to work at Saylor Custom Controls.
Sue had many interests, loved to entertain and travel, enjoyed golf, adored her dogs, and loved people.  She was active in many organizations both civic and philanthropic.  She was a member of Rainbow, Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, Executive Women's Golf Association, and the Oregon State Bulldog Club.  She served on many civic boards and committees; among them the Boones Ferry Days Board and the Wilsonville Planning Commission.
Sue is survived by two sisters: Sophie E. Smith, Elizabeth G. Fox, and a step-sister,  Nancy Dickey.  Other survivors include beloved friend Jerome Sorensen; three nephews:  Jerry Smith, Dale Smith, and Robert Moree; three nieces:  Linda Cheyne, Edith Prouty, and Marian Morris; twelve grand-nieces & nephews, seven great-grand nephews & nieces, and many, many dear friends and extended family.
