John Russell Bouse

May 13, 1944 - April 24, 2007

John Russell Bouse passed away April 24, 2007, at the age of 62.

Born May 13, 1944, in Portland, to Jacob Russell and Velma Lena Bouse, John graduated from Benson Tech High School. He joined the U.S. Navy, serving his country for four years before returning to work in management for Albertson's.

John then went to work for Kraft Foods, Gardner & Beedon, later joined Taylor Electric, and was currently working for Phase Ill as a manufacturing sales representative.

John resided in the Washington County area for many years and enjoyed traveling in his RV and hunting - but his real passion was hunting his favorite bear named Earl. He was always a joker, never missing an opportunity to play a good-natured prank on some unsuspecting person. Nothing put a bigger smile on his face then to scare someone, or make them jump out of their skin. John will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his son, Jonathan Bouse of Battle Ground, Wash.; daughter, Laura Ann Bouse of San Jose, Calif.; sisters, Ruth Bouvier of Gladstone, Ina Williams of Tigard, and Jessica Pfeifer of Oregon City; brother, Jay Bouse of Portland; and granddaughter, Tiffany Bouse of Battle Ground.

A memorial service will be held at Beaverton Christian Church, at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2007.
