Her birth location is listed as Missouri, but if she was born in July of 1850, as her monument states, she would have been born somewhere on the Oregon Trail with the Zumwalt party of 1850.  If she was born in 1849 she would have crossed as an infant.

Daughter of John Hancock and Sarah Merchant (Russell) Zumwalt; Wife of John Epler; Mother of Frederick, Charles, Joseph, Zephaniah, Alonzo, and Loren.

Recorded in the ledger under "Sobrina J. Stanton", a later married name after John Epler died in 1909.
