General Notes:
Family Contribution:  Born 1866 in Hamburg, Germany; emigrated from Germany in 1872 via Canada. First settled in Yamhill County. Mother of Henry, Lena, Mattie, and Anna (Baker).  All except Anna buried at Pleasant View. Anna married into the Baker family, marrying Raymond (son of Alison & Florence) who lived on the adjoining farm. Christian & Mary built a modern, new home (c. 1908-10) which still stands on SW Bell Road and east of Baker Road intersection. Henry took over the family farm, marrying Evelyn. No children. The "new," Reissner barn collapsed in the Columbus Day storm in 1962. Remnants of the old apple orchard and their "new" filbert orchard remain. Henry died of a heart attack in the barn while pitching hay to the dairy cows. Evelyn sold the farm and moved away.  Anna's fourth child, Lowell is buried at PVC.
